How we test
- Sentences cover particles, tense, politeness, verb forms, counters, word choice and spelling, with typical mistakes of English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Japanese speakers.
- Everyday spoken forms (like dropping a particle) count as correct. Han‑ssaem may suggest a textbook form, but must not call them mistakes.
- We re-run the test whenever we change the correction engine.
- When a reviewer finds our answer key was wrong (for example a sentence that is actually fine), we fix the key and note it. 6 items were corrected this way.
